Reading Comprehension Boxes

Help children develop a better understanding of what they’re reading through 12 different comprehension strategies.

• Each comprehension box contains a mix of texts, simple to complex, with related multiple choice questions. Accessible for all levels of pupil and can be used flexibly in the classroom.

• Ideal for independent reading activities, where pupils can choose cards, organise themselves and self-mark (using the separate answer cards) at their own pace.

• Also perfectly suited for use in groups of similar ability in which pupils can discuss and summarise what they have learned with each other.
