Outdoor Double Sided Wellie Store

Overview

• Includes 10 shelves, 5 on each side, providing capacity to store approx. 40 pairs of wellie or shoes. The various heights of the shelves helps ensure children of different ages and heights can all access.

• The store keeps shoes dry whilst not being worn. Shelves can be organised to aid class management so shoes are easy to find independently by the children. Different stores could even be allocated to different classes of children.

• Features a hand rail and pair of wellie pulls on both ends, handy for boot changing and keeping hands free from muddy boots.

• Doors can be bolted and locked with a padlock if desired (not included). Designed with robust, galvanised steel hinges for repeated use. Each door also has a hook so it can be secured in place whilst open, aiding access for several children and preventing movement in windy conditions.

• The store has a durable felt roof providing protection from wet weather, and has been designed with ventilation throughout allowing contents to be aired to dry.

• Made from thick pressure treated timber, designed to withstand heavy duty outdoor use and with a 10 year guarantee against rot and insect infestation.

• Locate on a level surface and allow adequate clearance around the store for ventilation and access.

• Delivered assembled - wellie pulls to be fitted after delivery (optional fit).

• "Every child in primary school should be able to access a pair of wellie boots every day, so they can play all over the school grounds in all weathers.

• A good storage solution enables children to easily find their own wellies, and crucially, their shoes after playtime is over.

• After playing on a drizzly day their shoes must be dry, and wellie boot removal should avoid the transfer of mud from boots to hands and then into school.

• Wellie boot storage is best located near the play area, and away from school entrances to minimize mud being transported into school buildings."
