They suggested a table where even the youngest children can sit next to and reach what is on the table. There is a slight edge around the outside to stop things rolling off the surface. We saw the children experimenting and exploring. We added a great big mound of clay on the table and the surface was easily wiped clean. You can choose all kinds of provocations to place on the table to excite and engage.
