Glitter Maths & Literacy Set

Overview

• Use the glitter pieces on a light panel, in sand or water to support independent learning or group lesson activities.

• Recognition work can combine glitter numbers, letters and shapes in one resource. The set contains sixty-one pieces, including fourteen numbers, twenty-six letters and twenty-one shapes. These support number recognition, letter recognition activities and shape recognition activities through independent learning or group lesson activities.

• For Key Stage 1 English spelling, use the glitter letters when naming the letters of the alphabet. They also support letter recognition games and preschool letter activities, helping children practise identifying and handling letters during spelling-focused work.

• Use the resources on a light panel, in sand or water. Holes allow the pieces to be strung indoors or outdoors, offering another way to arrange the letters, numbers and shapes. Made from 3mm durable acrylic, they support early years maths resources and early years literacy resources.
