Practitioners can offer the twelve vehicles for small world play, where children transport, load, empty and steer them. Rubbish, tanker and tipper trucks provide distinct roles and functions, helping children create narratives, divide roles and work together while developing coordination, communication and problem-solving skills.
The collection supports the EYFS aim of offering activities that develop and refine small motor skills.
