  • Each of the sets of books feature fun stories that introduce children to the sounds of the alphabet, adjacent consonants, consonant digraphs and vowel digraphs.

  • The Dandelion Extended Phonic Readers are meticulously designed to assist learners at various stages of phonic awareness. These books introduce learners to the different spellings of a particular vowel sound. Level 1 follows phase 2 & 3 of Letters and Sounds. Level 2 and 3 follows phase 5.

  • Level 1 series comprises 14 books, each with one spelling for the target vowel sound from the Extended Phonic Code. Level 2 series comprises 14 books, each with three spellings for a sound. Level 3 series comprises 14 books, each with four or five spellings for a sound. Level 4 series comprises 14 books, which follows Phases 5 and 6 of Letters and Sounds. They can be used for pupils expanding their knowledge of the Extended Phonic Code or as a reading intervention resource for older pupils.
