Cooperative Ropes Playground Game

Cooperative ball game, building team work and co-ordination through play.

  • The aim of this cooperative game is to carry a ball (placed on a base in the middle of the rope) from one place to another without it falling to the ground.

  • Two partners must communicate and adapt their strength quickly according to the other's force. For more difficulty, obstacles can be added on the course. As teams collaborate to overcome obstacles, the game fosters togetherness and camaraderie while improving players' mental and physical skills. This game provides a flexible and adaptive experience for a range of contexts and audiences such as in team-building exercises, educational programs, or recreational activities.

  • Great additional to any play time pack or for mini leaders to set up play stations in the playground. Pack away in seconds and super lightweight, perfect for smaller schools and setting where storage is limited. Tests children's fine and gross motor control and is a great way to determine skill progression over time. Once children become comfortable with the game, why not create races and timed events to develop their fundamental movement skills further and allow demonstrations of understanding different rules and games for important PE curriculum progression.
