Set of brightly coloured magnetic wands which are easy for younger hands to grip.

• Can be used for learning the basic principles of magnetism, attraction and repulsion.

• Recommended activities include providing the children with various magnetic and non-magnetic items for them to explore and test which are attracted to their wands. Encourage classification skills by asking the children to sort the items by different materials.

• Children can also investigate independently, by testing which other items in the classroom and around the school may be attracted to the magnetic wands.
