Designed to inspire exploration and discovery, the set includes four brightly coloured flower bowls and sixteen flower stones, perfectly matched by colour.
The four flower bowls and sixteen matching stones provide open-ended resources for colour recognition, sorting, matching and imaginative combinations. Children can use them in sand and water play, mud kitchen accessories or small world play, where bowls may become boats or homes for fairies.
For EYFS Mathematics, the flowers have three, four, five or six petals, helping children match counting words to objects, compare quantities and notice small groups for subitising activities. Practitioners can discuss the visible petal arrangements as children count and describe what they see.
