The shredder has a strip cut P2 security rating, shredding paper into approximately 35 pieces which makes it suitable use with non-sensitive documents. The 55dba induction power also ensures the shredder is whisper quiet, allowing classrooms, other learning environments and offices to remain focused while shredding occurs. The capacity of the bin is 12L which is equivalent to approximately 50 sheets. The bin has a window on the front to allow a visual indication of how full the bin is after each usage. To ensure ease of use the shredder has a heat cycle indicator which can be used to identify when the shredder needs to cool. In addition, the top of the shredder has useful guidance for any user indicating what is suitable for shredding alongside a manual reverse and forward feature to release paper jams.
