Make Spellings Stick Activity Cards

Remembering how to spell some words can be a real challenge for some children. This set of cards offers a range of fun, short, practical and engaging multi-sensory activities to help spellings stick.

• Multi-sensory learning opportunities appeal to our visual, auditory and motion (kinesthetic) senses. The activities provided will allow children to use as many of these senses at the same time.

• The activities can be implemented as part of a spelling intervention group, general spelling practice, a warm up for writing or as a homework activity.

• On each card you will find; resources that you will need, what to do, ideas to vary the activity, ideas to make the activity easier or harder and questions to prompt aid recall.
