These accurate, reusable and durable fraction strips are pre-scored so they can be folded and manipulated by children to demonstrate their understanding of fractions.

Once folded the different Fraction Strips can be directly compared allowing children to practically explore, leading to deeper understanding of, their relative size in relation to each other and equivalence. In Upper KS2 the Fraction Strips can be used to multiply and divide fractions by physically representing the calculation allowing children to discover in a practical way the mathematical structure thus deepening their understanding. Each set contains a strip for one whole, halves, thirds, quarters, fifths, sixths, sevenths, eighths, ninths and tenths.
